The Interim Leadership Team
will provide accountability and utilize the wisdom that comes from collective counsel. The pastor will also endeavour to teach the congregation what the Bible says about elders, their role and responsibilities, and their necessary qualifications in order to prepare the church for identifying and developing its own elders who, under Christ, the head of the church, will faithfully shepherd God's people with integrity, wisdom and understanding.
The RCBC eldership selection process began on Feb 26th 2012. We originally hoped that an eldership team would have been established in August of that same year but it became apparent that further time was required. The Interim leadership team are therefore continuing to serve the congregation in leadership until another elder selection process is carried out in 2018. In the meantime our prayers and efforts as a church will be directed toward developing future leaders (2 Tim 2:1-2
